Hi, I'm Bodo Schopf, a professional session drummer with 50 years of experience in recording, touring and music production.

I have recorded drums and percussion on more than 300 albums and over 1,000 trailers, commercials and productions. Credits include Michael Schenker, Eric Burdon, Chris Thompson, Hazel O'Connor, Mick Jackson, Eloy, The Sweet, Chris Norman, Andy Johns, Frank Filipetti, Warner Chappell and Sony/BMG.

My specialty is creating powerful, musical drum tracks that give a song the right feel, energy and personality. Rock, Classic Rock and Pop-Rock are at the heart of what I do, but I also record Blues, Funk, Soul, Country and cinematic productions.

I record in my own studio using Premier, Pearl and custom Ludwig drum kits, a selection of snares and a flexible multi-microphone setup. From tight and dry to huge room sounds, I adapt the drums to your production.
